Hello and Greetings!

Blubricks started with only 8 students in a small studio in Kota Damansara in 2006. Thanks to the confidence of parents to the programme it has now grown to over 300 students at several locations, with more than half taking the Trinity Guildhall Speech & Drama and/or Effective Communication Exams each year.

I graduated a Chemical Engineer and went on to get my MBA. In the course of my dealing with corporate clients, I discovered a tremendous want in the areas of communication skills and confidence. After a short stint in the performing arts scene, I realised that their rehearsal methods are highly effective for building confidence in actors. It did wonders for me! So from then on, I’ve immersed myself in theatre games research and this resulted in many students of mine seeing vast improvements in terms of their drive to learn and confidence. Parents share that their children look forward to the classes, and many have also taken their own initiatives to be heard.

Blubricks has indeed come a long way. However, the results have been more than satisfactory. I hope that Blubricks will be an avenue where children can learn to appreciate the benefits and grandeur of the performing arts; and parents will; in the process, be exposed to plays and performances alike.
